The Battle is on to SAVE America
My last post in February 2009, was “Do Not Grow Weary and To Get In the Battle”. If nothing else the battle has become even more intense and more critical. We have seen the current Administration wreck our economy through takeovers in Chrysler and General Motors, making it Government Motors instead of GM. Many Republican dealerships were closed.
This is a complete abandonment of the Constitution and a total overstepping of authority. After the takeover of AIG and several banks, the Democrats have now taken on the Health Care Industry. Health care in the U.S. accounts for 1/6th of our total economy. Democrats are calling it “reform”, when in fact it will increase taxes for everybody and reduce service for everyone. Should this pass, then health care as you know it will be gone. Bureaucrats will be in charge of who gets care and who doesn’t. This health care reform is not about health care, but about control of our lives.
Given this landscape, our job is to bring back Capitalism and Free Enterprise. Give small business owners the opportunity to produce through lower taxes and to be free of restraints of “Big Brother.”
The proposed “Jobs Bill”, now being considered, is another government “entitlement” program and will cause more tax increases. More government tax increases will not produce a healthy economy. It takes money out of the market place and stiffles growth.
It is a Battle you can not escape. You are in this Battle, you are a part of it and do everything you can to turn this around, and so will I.
We look forward to the coming election cycle to regain control of our U.S. Congress, and maintain control of the Texas House and Senate.
