Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less

Filed under: General — Ed @ 9:59 pm

We have an issue that we can frame the 2008 election around. $4 a gallon gas has gotten people to the point where they are willing to tell the environmentalist, enough is enough. We have to develop our own resources.

We have probably as much or more oil reserves as any country in the world. Production is 40 per cent less than it used to be and demand is 30 per cent more. We can’t afford to wait any longer. We have to drill here, drill now, and we will pay less at the pump.

The Democratic Congress who said they would take care of all our needs…have done nothing but investigate. They have wasted more time and money on foolish investigations and done nothing for the benefit of the country.

Republicans need to rise up and let their voices be heard. VOTE and don’t be discouraged. Keep exposing the truth about the high gas prices as being caused by the Democratic failure to act and act now.

If we continue to do nothing now, then each day gas will rise in cost. Every day nothing is done, is another day lost is trying to diminish the price of gas at the pump. We must start today, and it starts with our continued pressure on Congress to open up drilling and exploration.

We need you to write, e-mail or call you newspaper with letters to the editor and your elected representatives at every level. Get stirred up, Drill it in their ears. You can make it happen.
